The The Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI) CPD is a valuable resource for architects and architectural technologists providing them with the support to achieve excellence in architecture and the knowledge to build a sustainable and resilient future.

Further Education and Training or FET, offers a wide variety of life-long education options to anyone over 16. FET includes apprenticeships, traineeships, Post-Leaving Cert (PLC) courses, community and adult education, as well as core literacy and numeracy services. FET courses and programmes are provided through the Education and Training Board network throughout the country as well as through other local providers including online through SOLAS’ eCollege. FET courses are provided at levels one to six on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ).

Under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013, all construction workers in Ireland – including apprentices and trainees – are legally bound to hold a valid Safepass Registration Card. The Safepass Programme is delivered by SOLAS Learning Works Approved Training Organisations and tutors.
