Micro-credential in Common Data Environment Data Analytics

Each 5 credits will normally equate to approximately 100 Total Learning Hours. Total Learning Hours includes the time you spend in class (lectures, tutorials, practical elements) and the time you spend completing work outside of college.  The balance between these two varies by discipline, and by level of study. You should bear in mind that the workload will increase at particular times e.g. when assignments are due.

On completion of this module the learner will/should be able to

• Configure core parameters and workflow configuration of a Common Data Environment for use at enterprise scale
• Create Project Data reports and System Data reports using CDE core functionality
• Connect to a cloud-based CDE API, including data security and authentication protocols.
• Create, Read, and Update CDE data from a custom-built software tool.
• Perform Data Analysis on CDE data obtained through the API

This programme will use Autodesk Construction Cloud as the Common Data Environment. The skill sets developed are transferable to other CDE platforms. Autodesk Platform Services is utilised to develop custom functionality
