The Common Data Environment is a key component of BIM-enabled project delivery. It is a central data platform for all construction design and project delivery information. This programme will provide learners with key tools and methodologies to interrogate this data lake to derive key project performance metrics.
Participants in this programme will learn to provide deep, data-driven insights into construction organisations and provide key decision-making data to senior management. The value of data analytics has been clearly established across multiple industries. This course leverages the opportunity that CDE data analytics presents to the construction sector.
A level 6 qualification in a cognate discipline (e.g. Engineering, Architecture, Building Services, Construction Management etc.,) or approved equivalent qualification

English Language: Applicants who do not have English as their first language must ensure they satisfy English Language requirements. For entry to undergraduate courses, a score of 5.5 in an IELTS or equivalent exam is required. For postgraduate courses, a score of 6.0 in an IELTS or equivalent exam is required. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure their English proficiency meets these requirements. Please note that we do not request proof of English language qualification or proficiency.
The following list includes a selection of modules that you will study during your time on this programme.
Each 5 credits will normally equate to approximately 100 Total Learning Hours. Total Learning Hours includes the time you spend in class (lectures, tutorials, practical elements) and the time you spend completing work outside of college. The balance between these two varies by discipline, and by level of study. You should bear in mind that the workload will increase at particular times e.g. when assignments are due.

This programme will use Autodesk Construction Cloud as the Common Data Environment. The skill sets developed are transferable to other CDE platforms. Autodesk Platform Services is utilised to develop custom functionality
Delivery:
Delivery is fully online with lectures and practical sessions in a virtual classroom
3 hours weekly 18:30- 21:30.
