The recently published “Green Public Procurement (GPP) Strategy and Action Plan 2024-2027” has an important role in contributing to national climate targets. It has particular relevance to the construction sector, where the public sector has substantial leverage to promote and encourage the supply of more resource-efficient and low-carbon materials.
DASBE partner Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) has micro credentials on Green Public Procurement starting in January 2025, that have an 80% fee subsidy for eligible learners.
